• Prayer and journal entries you create

We use your information to:

• Personalize your spiritual growth experience
• Send important updates and notifications
• Process subscriptions and purchases

3. Data Security

We take data security seriously. Your information is encrypted and stored securely using industry-standard practices. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request data deletion
• Export your data
• Opt-out of communications

5. Third-Party Services

Living Sword uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase for data storage
• RevenueCat for subscription management
• OpenAI for prayer generation
• Pushwoosh for push notifications

6. Voice Journaling and Audio Storage

When you record a prayer journal entry by voice, your speech is transcribed on your device using Apple's or Google's built in speech recognition. Your audio is not sent to our servers for transcription.

If you save the entry, the recorded audio file is uploaded to our private storage so you can play it back later.

• Audio for free users is automatically deleted 30 days after upload.
• Audio for active subscribers is retained while your subscription is active.
• If your subscription lapses, retained audio enters a 30 day window before deletion.

The transcribed text and the AI improved version of your entry are retained for as long as your account exists.

7. Children's Privacy

Living Sword is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email.

Website measurement

We use first-party website measurement to understand which pages and steps help people start using Living Sword. Records include an anonymous session identifier, page and button categories, campaign labels, and technical success or error categories. We do not include your prayer text, names, email address or account identifier in these records.

When available, that session identifier can connect a website visit with a confirmed Stripe payment or first app sign-in. Payment measurement records include the invoice identifier, currency and gross amount. This is pseudonymous measurement, and account and payment systems retain their separate records.

Browser event collection honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Measurement records are stored privately in Supabase and hosting logs. The Supabase measurement archive is removed after 90 days by a daily cleanup; payment and account records follow the rest of this policy.
